Swan focus? Tonight we start the creative development of our community oratorio, Swansong!!!The Musical!!! Â We will bring you some behind-the-scenes moments in coming posts.
Swan facts? You can find all manner of information and some great pictures here.
Swan talk? Two of many possible collective nouns for swans are “a bank” (when on the ground), and “a wedge” (when in flight). But TTFO is inclined towards other more poetic suggestions found online today. Which of these do you prefer?
(a) a bevy of swans?
(b) A drift of swans?
(c) a fanfare of swans?
(d) a lamentation of swans?
See you in (the Bluestone) church…
(e) a sisterhood of swans?
A lamentation of swans…so poetic.
I love that one too.
A sisterhood of sibilance…?
Very onomatopoetic!
